What you will learn:

  • The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster

  • Dive theory introduction

  • Decompression theory and the RDP

  • Divemaster conducted programs

  • Risk management

  • The business of diving

  • Your diving career

  • Diving physics and physiology

  • Dive equipment

  • Practical aspects of a PADI Divemaster

Course Requirements:

  • 18 years old, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent qualifying certification from another training organization)

  • PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent qualifying certification from another training organization)

  • Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training with a 24 month validity

  • Minimum of 40 dives to begin the course and 60 dives upon completion of certification

  • Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement (PDF) signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

Course includes:

  • PADI Divemaster Crew Pak or eLearning

  • Classroom Theory sessions

  • 2 Pool sessions  (Stamina Assessment / Rescue Assessment)

  • UNLIMITED Pool internships

  • UP to 10 Weekend dive trips for on-job training

  • Instructor and certification fees

Course Length:

​​The duration of the PADI Divemaster certification course is flexible, and ranges anywhere from 6 - 12 months. It is dependent on your progress as well as your customised schedule which will be arranged during your registration process.
